13th Annual Bike 4 Fun Recap - THANK YOU!

Bike 4 Fun Thank you

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, CCHAT students—from Baby & Me to Primary—celebrated the 13th annual Bike 4 Fun. Scooters, wagons, bikes, and trikes zipped around the track, all in the name of fun and fundraising. When the final laps were tallied, George (left) and Stella (middle) paced the upperclass riders, while Max (right) was crowned champ of the younger classes. Congrats to all riders!

First Responders

One of the fun aspects of Bike 4 Fun is being visited by community heroes. After the children were done biking, first responders from the Rancho Cordova Police Department, California Highway Patrol, and Sac Metro Fire Department gave students and up-close look at their jobs and vehicles. Some even joined the students on the track!

CCHAT Alumni Family Returns to Cool Down Riders

After tearing up the track for 30 minutes in 90+ degree heat, CCHAT students were in need of something cold. Luckily, there was a remedy. Cindy and Brian, grandparents of CCHAT alum Bryce, provided refreshing snow cones to bring the students back to life. THANK YOU!

Ties and Heels on Wheels

Local business leaders, event sponsors and CCHAT staff again took to the track, hoping to be crowned Big Wheeler 2019. With a captive student audience, a large field was whittled down to three, and despite some fierce competition, the title stayed at Les Schwab for the 3rd straight year. Mitch defended his title by beating his coworker Eric and Tim from Modern Woodmen.
