15th Annual Bike 4 Fun

This year, students joyfully returned to the CCHAT track and spent the morning racking up laps on their bikes, scooters, wagons and strollers! Families and staff served as the cheering section, and our kids' happiness could be seen in the countless smiles. It truly was a beautiful day!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED OUR STUDENTS AT BIKE 4 FUN 2021!

We set a fundraising goal of $35,000 for Bike 4 Fun 2021. Through the hard work of our dedicated families, generous donors and amazing sponsors, we CRUSHED that number!

THEN, the great people at Modern Woodmen Financial were inspired to make a substantial matching donation to our bike-riding students!

The result of our community's collaborative effort is an astounding Bike 4 Fun total of $57, 650!

Letter from our Executive Director

Dear Community Member,

CCHAT's annual fundraiser, Bike 4 Fun, will be October 19, 2021. This year, CCHAT children with hearing loss will be back riding the track for our modified and safe in-person event. This community celebration is vital to the sustainability of our program. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Bike 4 Fun sponsors receive benefits that maximize their exposure to CCHAT's vast community of supporters.

At CCHAT, our mission is to teach children who are deaf and hard of hearing to develop the listening, language and literacy skills for lifelong success. Mastery of these core areas allows students from our program to transition into mainstream schools throughout Northern California. CCHAT graduates keep pace with their hearing peers and have the skills to access all educational, vocational, and social opportunities without the limitations often associated with hearing loss.

We hope you'll partner with CCHAT for this event, now in its 15th year. Bike 4 Fun is loved by students, parents, staff, and community members alike. Your support helps to ensure that the specialized listening and spoken language services for which CCHAT is known remain available to children with hearing loss.
