On Saturday, March 25th, the CCHAT community and our closest friends came together for CCHAT Uncorked 2023, presented by Lund Construction. Wearing their best 1920s outfits, a joyous crowd enjoyed fabulous food, drinks and company while celebrating the life-changing program that is CCHAT.

CCHAT Center runs on the generosity of people like you. Thanks to this support, CCHAT Uncorked 2023 generated $124,000 for CCHAT and our children with hearing loss who are learning how to listen and speak. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our amazing community that continually rises up to ensure our children have the support they need to thrive!

A Letter to Our Community

Dear Community Supporter,

When CCHAT opened its doors in 1996, a group of 12 children with hearing loss and four staff members embarked on an unknown journey. With listening and spoken language as the goal, this team was hopeful but likely had little idea just how impactful the CCHAT program could become.

Now in its 26th year, CCHAT has evolved to become a community powerhouse and trusted resource for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. In addition to center-based services that provide more than 50 students with vital classroom instruction, daily speech therapy and audiological support, CCHAT also fortifies the hearing health of the region. From newborn hearing screening tests that help diagnose hearing loss in the critical early days of life, to mainstream support services that provide essential support to more than 300 students with hearing loss throughout local school districts, CCHAT is committed to improving the quality of life for children with hearing loss of all ages.

CCHAT believes hearing loss should never serve as a roadblock to any avenue a child pursues. The program never turns away children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and all of CCHAT’s top-level services are provided at NO COST to families. This sets up fundraising as a vital element of the program and an area where CCHAT relies heavily on the generosity of its community.

CCHAT Uncorked - Fill the Silence, the program’s largest fundraiser, is approaching on March 25th, 2023, and we are in need of local sponsors. Hundreds of CCHAT supporters will join us for this live event, enjoying a night of food, drinks, fun and fundraising. All proceeds from the event will allow CCHAT to continue its life-changing program and ensure children with hearing loss enjoy a future without limits.
