We will be honoring CCHAT's Ambassador: Aieden Hensley

"Aieden has severe, to profound hearing loss. His younger brother, Ryan, was born deaf. Both boys fit in with their peers and talk just like other hearing kids. They are doing very well at their mainstream school. It is amazing to watch them play with other children and communicate with other people without hesitation and without feeling a bit of isolation. We attribute so much of their confidence, ability to effectively communicate and advocate for themselves to CCHAT. CCHAT continues to impact our family in so many positive ways. They helped to make our dreams and hopes for our deaf children to be able to listen and talk a reality. CCHAT has helped other people we meet believe that deaf kids can talk. CCHAT’s dedication to help children with hearing loss truly made a difference in our family and we are forever grateful."
